0) Payments, pricing & fees (India)
- All prices are in INR (₹). Taxes (GST) apply as per law.
- Accepted methods: Cards, UPI, Netbanking, Wallets, EMI/BNPL via RBI‑compliant payment gateways. We do not store full card data (tokenisation/PCI‑DSS via gateway).
- Non‑refundable booking deposit (NRD) is due at confirmation. Standard NRD: 25% of package price.
- Convenience/processing fees (if shown at checkout) are non‑refundable, except when Onlitrip cancels in full or for duplicate/failed charges.
- Booking confirmation and trip voucher are sent after successful payment. Seat is confirmed only after our confirmation message.
- GST invoice available on request.
1) Cancellations by traveller (India slabs)
Base price = package price minus non‑refundable components, convenience/processing fees and applicable taxes. NRD is the minimum cancellation charge; if slab retention is higher, the higher amount applies.
- 30+ days before departure: 90% refund of base price (min. charge = NRD).
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of base price (min. charge = NRD).
- 0–14 days before departure or no‑show: No refund.
- Partially used services or missed departures are non‑refundable.
- For multi‑traveller bookings, per‑person rules apply. Name changes count as reschedule and may attract supplier charges.
2) Non‑refundable components
- Flight/train/bus tickets and airline/rail fees (incl. fare rule penalties).
- Visas, permits, park entries, safaris and government fees.
- Travel insurance premiums.
- Hotel/activity bookings marked non‑refundable or with peak/event surcharges.
- Payment gateway convenience fees, EMI/BNPL interest/NBFC charges, FX conversion charges.
- Gift cards, promo codes or credits are not redeemable for cash; discounts are adjusted in refunds.
3) Rescheduling
- 15+ days before departure: One free date change (subject to availability). Fare/tariff difference applies.
- 0–14 days: Reschedule not guaranteed; supplier charges and fare difference apply. If new date not available, cancellation terms apply.
- Name change in group departures is subject to supplier rules/charges.
4) Cancellations by Onlitrip (minimum group size / force majeure)
- Choose one: (a) full refund of base price, or (b) free reschedule/credit to a future date.
- If we cancel in full, NRD and any convenience/processing fee charged by us are also refunded.
- We are not liable for consequential costs (leave, extra transport/accommodation, visa outcomes, currency losses).
5) Refund process & timeline
- Refunds only to the original payment method (no cash/alternate accounts) as per RBI/gateway compliance.
- Initiation: within 48 business hours after cancellation approval.
- Typical timelines:
- UPI/Wallets: 1–3 business days (UPI RRN on request).
- Cards (Domestic): 5–10 business days (ARN on request).
- Netbanking (IMPS/NEFT): 3–7 business days (UTR on request).
- EMI/BNPL: 7–15 business days; may reflect in 1–2 billing cycles.
- Duplicate/pre‑auth charges are reversed per issuer rules (typically 5–7 business days post initiation).
6) How to request a refund
Email your booking ID, payment reference, traveller name, phone, and reason for cancellation to: info@onlitrip.com
- Write from your registered email and attach supporting documents (medical/force majeure) if applicable.
- We acknowledge within 24–48 business hours and guide you on next steps.
7) International bookings (future)
Currently, we operate India itineraries. If you book an international trip in future, the following may apply:
- Passport/visa requirements and embassy/consulate timelines are outside our control; visa fees and service charges are non‑refundable.
- Airline/overseas supplier fare rules prevail; many components can be strictly non‑refundable.
- FX conversion differences and cross‑border issuer fees are borne by the traveller.
- Processing timelines for international cards may be 7–15 business days or more.
- Overseas tour packages may attract TCS as per prevailing law; treatment on cancellation follows law/issuer guidance.
8) Chargebacks & disputes (India)
- Please contact us first for payment issues; most cases resolve without chargebacks.
- If a chargeback is raised during a refund, we’ll submit evidence; resolution may take 45–90 days as per network/bank rules.
- UPI disputes can also be raised via your bank app/ODR; share UPI RRN with us for faster tracking.
- Report suspected fraud to your bank and to us immediately.
