About this tour
Two full nights in Udaipur, followed by a Jawai leopard safari on the way out. Day 2 trades the usual checklist for an offbeat loop, Badi Lake, Chandni Village, Rayta Hills, all genuinely close together and best seen right now, in monsoon. Day 3 keeps the classics worth keeping, City Palace and a sunset boat ride, with a quiet morning at Sajjangarh before the crowds show up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the leopard sighting guaranteed on the Jawai safari? | No sighting is ever guaranteed, but Jawai has one of the highest leopard densities in India outside a fenced park, sightings are common but not promised.
Why does the Jawai safari run only in the evening? | Safari timings are strictly regulated, 6 AM to 7 PM only, with no night safaris permitted. The itinerary is built around the evening slot to fit the Udaipur-Jawai-Delhi route in one continuous loop.
Will we definitely visit Rayta Hills? | Only if the Delhi-Udaipur bus arrives by 10 AM on Day 2. If it's delayed, Rayta is dropped to avoid driving the winding ghat road after dark, Badi Lake and Chandni Village still happen either way.
What if our tempo traveller can't reach Badi Lake, Chandni Village or Rayta Hills? | The group transfers to local Bolero/Sumo vehicles for that stretch, already accounted for in the trip cost, so there's no extra charge on the day.
Is lunch included on any day? | No, lunch is not included on any day of the trip. Breakfast and dinner are covered on both nights in Udaipur, plus dinner at Jawai.
What are the room sharing options? | Double sharing and Triple sharing, based on the fixed hotel allotment of 4 double rooms and 4 triple rooms for the group.
What time do we actually reach Delhi on the last day? | Realistically around 10 AM, not early morning, factoring in the 636 km overnight drive from Jawai. Plan onward travel accordingly.
Is there a minimum group size for this trip to run? | Yes, minimum 12 pax is required to confirm departure. Below that, the trip is either rescheduled or repriced.
Can we swim at the hotel in Udaipur? | Yes, the hotel has a swimming pool with music, included as part of the stay, free time on Day 2 evening and Day 3 afternoon works well for this.
Is Sajjangarh Fort accessible by our main bus? | No, large buses are barred from the hill road up to Sajjangarh. The bus parks at the base gate, and the group transfers up by a shared forest department minivan, already included in the cost.
