About this tour
Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. From mid-July to September the entire valley — 87 sq km of it — fills up with over 300 species of alpine wildflowers including Brahmakamal, Blue Poppy, Cobra Lily and Himalayan Edelweiss. It is one of those places that genuinely looks unreal in person. The trek is not technically difficult — it is long, high and very beautiful. On this 4-day trip we drive from Delhi overnight, trek into Ghangaria, spend a full day in the Valley of Flowers, and return. No experience needed — just good fitness and the right shoes.
